“I closed my mouth and spoke to you in a hundred silent ways.”

One hundred whispers, one hundred times,

When you needed me I was always there,

When you didn’t need me I was always there,

I did not need words, but my endless flow of actions spoke,

I knew my silence was not enough for you to notice me sometimes,

But time to time you saw my heart, your gratitude was loud,

My devotion was silent, through night and day my silence was a joke,

I was there when you needed me the most,

He was never there, but you let him in while I was a ghost,

Slowly I was nothing but a silent draft, drifting away,

I knew then, you were done with me, I was starting to decay,

My heart shattered in a million silent pieces,

Piece by piece I was a joke,

Crying and laughing inside my eyes,

Tears broke,

And my silence,

Made you soak,

In tears you regretted, hurting my silent voice,

And all that was left was my gaze,

You knew it spoke,

A hundred little words.
