Night Sky and Me

The stars were shining bright

On this lovely moonlit night

Not a cloud in the sky

When you held me and I held you

A couple bottles of wine

It seemed as if it was divine

As we danced around the night

You only came to say goodbye

And the storm clouds walked into our lives

And the coming storm took me away from you

Now I'm looking up from some deep dark hole

Asking shooting stars to make my wish come true

But the silence of the night was all that came through

And now I wander every night

And hope I might see you

But the golden moon has gone away

And a blue moon has come to stay

So as I walk and I pray

My mind has a great escape

And hopes a golden moon comes rolling back to you
