She was a misfit

She craved to be the perfect fit

She believed she had flaws

She never broke the society’s laws

She never broke the bully’s jaw

She never had the cats claws

She was flexible like a straw

Her heart was so raw

Until one day she broke every law

She broke the bully’s jaw

Now she had the cat’s claws

She was the attention draw

She was such a flaw

She was still a misfit

But she didn’t crave to be the perfect fit

She believed she defined her flaws

She was her own imperfect hit

She was proud to be the misfit
