She Walks In Beauty by George Gordon Byron
She Walks In Beauty
by George Gordon Byron
She Walks in Beauty like the night
cloudless climes and Starry Skies
And all that's best dark and bright
Meet in her aspect in her eyes
The mellowed of to that tender light
Which Heaven to Goudy day denies
One shade the more one Ray the less
Had half impaired the nameless Grace
Which waves in every Raven trees
Are softly lightens or her face
Where thoughts Serenely sweet Express
How pure how dear their Dwelling Place
On that cheek
And or that brow
So Soft so calm yet eloquent
The Smiles that wind that tints that glow
Tell of days and goodness spent
A mind at peace with all below
Our heart whose love is innocent!
