She Surrendered
She surrendered
She let go of the fear
She let go of the judgments
She let go of the opinions
Swirling in her head
She fired the Committee of Doubt
and Indecision
That had her running around in circles
She let go of the “right” decisions
Understanding it was just her human will
Trying to exert control
And without hesitation or worry
She let it all go
She surrendered
No one was around when it happened
No one gave her applause
Or praised her
No one noticed a thing
Because no one ever does
And if they did
It did not matter
Like a leaf falling and floating
Down from a tree,
She let go and could breathe
There was no effort
There was no struggle
Only a sense of a relief
And in that moment of letting go
She embraced faith
She found peace
A small smile curled her lips
As tender breeze blew through her
Warming and comforting her soul
And she beamed like the sun
And she glowed like the moon
She surrendered
