she's left, she's gone

____________

She's left

She's gone

She's decided

it's time

to move on.

She's decided

the problems

we're mine.

So she gone

and she's

doing fine.

But I sit

alone

contemplating

my supposed

crimes.

--

She's left

She's gone

She's happy

she says.

I can't get

past this ache

in my head.

I spend days

thinking what

I could have

done differently

but nothing

occurs to me.

--

She's left

She's gone

She's with

someone new.

Does this mean

her love was

never true?

I truly don't

know now what

I'm supposed

to do.

But somehow

I'll have to

muddle through.
