Fractured Self

Shattered Mirror

The mirror reflects, a broken face,

Each shard revealing a different space.

One smiles, remembers sunlit days,

Another weeps, lost in sorrow's maze.

Love's impact, a spiderweb's design,

Catches the light, both beauty and grime.

The tangled threads, memories hold tight,

Of laughter and tears, bathed in moonlight.

Each fragment whispers a different hue,

Of who I was, and who I am anew.

Can these pieces mend, become whole once more?

Or will forever remain fragmented by the core?

The journey unfolds, with questions unseen,

To gather the shards, and make them pristine.

For even a broken mirror can still reflect,

The strength to rise, and choose a new effect.
