The Weight of Another's Pain

In the depths of life's intricate tapestry,

A burden shared, a silent plea,

The weight of another's pain we bear,

A sacred bond that few can bear.

In each soul's journey, trials and fears,

A kaleidoscope of smiles and tears,

We stand as witnesses, hearts open wide,

To embrace the sorrow others hide.

A fragile dance of empathy's grace,

In tender steps, we find our place,

To cradle anguish, hold it near,

To let them know, they need not fear.

For in this world so vast and wide,

We often stumble, lose our stride,

Yet hand in hand, we walk this road,

Together, lightened of our load.

But heavy is the heart that knows,

The weight of grief that overflows,

The tears we shed for souls we meet,

Whose wounded hearts now find retreat.

A gentle touch, a soothing word,

In compassion's language, love is heard,

In each act of kindness we bestow,

A ray of hope begins to grow.

The weight of another's pain we feel,

Their shattered dreams, their hearts that reel,

It molds us, shapes us, makes us see,

The beauty of humanity.

For in this tangled web of fate,

We learn to love, to empathize, to relate,

And though the burden may seem too much,

Our unity is heaven's touch.

So let us carry one another's woes,

And in this union, find repose,

For life's true essence is revealed,

In how we share, how we can heal.

As stars above in darkness gleam,

A tapestry of hope and dream,

Together, stronger, we shall remain,

In the weight of another's pain.
