Shadows of the Past

A sonnet past shadows that I loved.

By Lou_EinalePublished 12 months ago • 1 min read

Longing to touch an unreachable heart,

Unthoughtful ideas blinding my sight.

Took different path that set us apart,

Leading the darkness to shadow our light.

-

Healing a soul that fought countless battles,

Tears flowing through unbreakable journey.

Shaken by the world for all that matters,

Pleading the above to send all mercy.

-

The past that left deeply markable scars,

Torturing my dreams of a clear future.

Letting go of the shadows of the past,

To let beginning to run its own nature.

-

Loving someone deeply with all your soul,

An everlasting feeling that I own.
