Serenity

A Collection

By Mother CombsPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read

When the quest for tranquility eludes

And the trip to peacefulness is wrecked

Then it is time to take a deep calming breath

To put our hectic lives back on track for serenity

***********************

On a sea of chaos, savage and wild

With storms of turmoil forever riled

Is an island where serenity dwells

A sanctuary where tranquility swells

With the crashing of the waves, a beacon of light

Guiding lost beings through the darkest night

A refuge where tired hearts rest,

In the embrace of peace, truly blessed.

Stillness paints the horizon's hue,

A tapestry of stillness, ever true,

Whispers of serenity caress the air,

As gentle breezes through my weary hair.

On the shores of Ataraxia, I find my way,

A sacred haven where chaos fades away,

Amidst the turmoil, a peaceful retreat,

Where calmness reigns, and my soul is complete.
