Isn’t it comical how two people can come together and their souls intertwine;

That felt like the warmth of a home that was always supposed to be mine.

You conversed with me in a language like art;

Yet our lives, like magnets, kept pushing us apart.

Well, I suppose it’s not humorous living a romantic tragedy.

You would do anything possible to get them back allegedly.

I swear I curse this life for showing me love, then violently ripping it away.

It doesn’t make sense to me why you couldn’t stay.

Sometimes our memories just hurt too damn much for me to remember.

So for the rest of my life, I shall always curse the dreary month of September.
