Sentiments

Sentiments are a part of life The highs and lows that we must bear They can bring us joy or strife But they make us human, and that's rare.

They float like feathers in the wind Fragile, delicate, and light Emotions that we cannot rescind In darkness, they shine bright

Joy, love, anger, and pain Sentiments that we all feel Some we wish would remain Others we want to steal

Happy memories that bring a smile Reminding us of times long gone Sadness that lasts for a while When we feel like we don't belong

Love that fills us with warmth A connection that we cannot ignore Heartbreak that causes storms Leaving us feeling unsure

Anger that burns like a flame When we feel wronged or betrayed Regret that we cannot tame For choices we wish we hadn't made

Sentiments are a part of life The highs and lows that we must bear They can bring us joy or strife But they make us human, and that's rare.
