Sensory Overload
Misunderstood Tides of the Mind
In a world full of noise and haste,
There was a man whom many misplaced.
They said, "He's like an ostrich, head in the sand,"
But little did they understand.
He can't think straight, the world's a blur,
Sounds and sights, a constant stir.
They laugh and they goad, in ignorance reside,
Not seeing the storm that brews inside.
Bright lights, loud voices, they all converge,
In his mind, emotions surge.
Not avoidance, but a sensory tide,
In the corners, he'd often hide.
With contentment, he accepts fate,
For understanding often comes too late.
Yet, in the quiet, he finds his peace,
Hoping one day, the misconceptions cease.
