Those lost

In one night in a rein of Terror. Unknown Evil was on the loose. He burned and murdered His way across a country side, knocks on door, or pulled over, Random in the most calculated way

22 lives cut short that night

22 families shattered

in a blink of a eye.

Each of those lives mattered

More than I can say. Try my best to honour them in this way.

A retired couple, looking forward to the golden years.

mothers and Teachers that taught how to love or how to read , Nurses and brothers, relied on and trusted

A child of only 14, who had big dreams and far-reaching as the wind.

Off duty Correctional officers. And rcmp Officers died in the line of duty, who paid the ultimate price. way to high. we are left to wander why.

Each loss having a echoing effect. Each ripple in the pond of life. Suddenly stilled before there time. Sorrow the runs deep and wide. Spanning the country side

Of several sleeping little Nova Scotia

towns of Nova Scotia.

But the Shock wave

felt across the country

And around the world.

we wish could ease your pain

Of those that remain

That have to live through your lost.

One none can explaining

leaning on each other

Standing together,

we are Nova Scotia strong.

With Love and prayers to all

As we hold vigil with you this day.
