Semantic Satiation & Other Fatal Ejaculations

this. Why do the linguistic seeds I plant

Isn't. flower into blooms of deep thought

an. when sometimes, just sometimes

acrostic. I want to laugh at the insanity and ridiculous

-

this. how ridiculous is made up of a dick and louse

isn't. or if you say it the right/wrong way

an. you get red dick, you louse!

-

a. Whimsy is a girl who dances in the dark

c. and still finds the gummy sweets—

r. and joy in the hilarity, often with someone called Hilary

o. is a Hilary hilarious from birth

or do they become it

-

s. Also, what even is Bee cum.

-

t. Curse Google and the ease of access to information

I. I searched and found exactly what bee come is.

c. Male honey bees—the drones—

ejaculate while mating with the queen

line edit. the act is fatal for them - still they got ejaculate in a queen

Who else can say that? Let's ignore the fact the ejaculation—

the forceful expulsion of semen

rips the endophallus of the bee from his body

Death by ripped endophallus.

"We're both Texan bank managers. Go sports teams we love. "

Author's Notes: The above was loosely inspired by ruminating on a conversation I started with young Euan Brennan about how most of my poems are deep. I noted that I find it hard to write something just because it sounds good or funny without a dark undercurrent to it all. Then, the above was born. After putting a lot of effort into some love stories and serious poetry flexing, this was a lot of fun.
