Self-Love

No longer mute & I sing along

Not petals soft, but scars that gleam,

A tapestry of battles won,

Not fragile glass, but tempered steel,

My heart, a journey's begun.

No porcelain doll, but weathered oak,

Roots deep, against the storm I stand,

No borrowed worth, but soul awoke,

A treasure held within my hand.

Flawed brushstrokes paint a vibrant hue,

Cracks of light ignite the shade,

No longer masked, I bloom anew,

In imperfections, beauty's made.

No symphony, but a discordant song,

My voice, though shaky, starts to rise,

No longer mute, I sing along,

In messy notes, my spirit flies.

Self-love, a journey, not a prize,

Embrace the dark, the scars, the light,

Unfurl your wings, and touch the skies,

You are enough, just shine your light.
