SELENOPHILE

MOON

By Fathima FaheemaPublished 3 years ago • 1 min read

In the velvet cloak of night, the moon ascends,

A silver sentinel, where the darkness bends.

Its radiant face, a gentle, glowing guide,

Through celestial realms, our dreams do confide.

A ballet of stars pirouettes on high,

As the moon whispers secrets to the sky.

A cosmic waltz, enchanting and bright,

Paints the canvas of the tranquil night.

Bathed in the moon's tender, pale embrace,

Nocturnal symphony, a tranquil grace.

Shadows dance in the lunar glow,

A ballet unseen, reserved for night's show.

Each crater on the moon tells tales untold,

Of love and longing, mysteries unfold.

A celestial ballad, soft and sweet,

Echoes in the stillness, where two worlds meet.

The night, a canvas of dreams spun wide,

Where fantasy and reality coincide.

Under the moon's watchful, silvery gaze,

Imagination blooms in nocturnal haze.

So, as darkness weaves its silent song,

And the moon reigns in the starry throng,

Embrace the night with a heart alight,

For in its beauty, dreams take flight.
