"Selene" by Susan Seddon Boulet
Every shadow is a stygian field
Concealing our sins from a judging eye
Leering Helios scorns weakness, revealed
Insipid are our antics from on high
Praise gentle Selene, shield of our small shame
She is no judge, weaver of cool darkness
Each night, we ought to Her glory proclaim

Love the originality behind this one D.J., and the contrast between the two personifications. Especially the line "shield of our small shame" which flows so nicely. "She is no judge, weaver of cool darkness" is probably my favourite bit. Nicely done:)
