Beneath the azure, vast expanse above,
Where peace resides, a sanctuary of love.
In moments of turmoil, when all's awry,
The sky consoles, bids sorrow goodbye.
Its canvas vast, a tapestry so grand,
A magic carpet to traverse the land.
Lost in its depths, amidst clouds we glide,
Euphoria floods, a joyous ride.
Each celestial dance, a wondrous display,
Inscribed upon the heavens, night or day.
When peace pervades our soul, body, and mind,
The universe aligns, woes left behind.
Harmony woven in each starry gleam,
Guiding us home to where dreams redeem.
So let the sky be our eternal guide,
In its embrace, serenity abides.
About the Creator
Shooting Guernica
The summer of my photography internship, studying at the Escuela Universitaria de Artes in Madrid, was a blur of soaring architecture, echoing galleries, dimly lit clubs, darkrooms, and dark-eyed Spanish artists. I was serious about learning my craft--especially with my parents' educational fund running out--but I also wanted to have fun.
