SEEKING GOD.

In the depths of my soul, I yearn to find

A connection divine, a purpose defined.

For I seek the truth, a guiding light,

To overcome the temptations that entice.

In this world of desires, so alluring and grand,

The lust of the flesh, like shifting sand.

But I am determined, with unwavering zeal,

To seek God's presence, to find what is real.

With eyes wide open, I'll discern the lies,

The lust of the eyes that often blinds.

For material treasures, they fade and decay,

Yet God's love endures, forever to stay.

The pride of life, a deceptive snare,

But humbled before God, I find solace there.

In surrendering my ego, my self-serving ways,

I embrace humility, and let His will blaze.

With faith as my armor, I will not be swayed,

By the fleeting temptations this world has displayed.

For in God's Word, a beacon of truth,

I find wisdom and strength, an eternal youth.

In obedience, I'll walk the righteous path,

Embracing His teachings, and escaping the wrath.

For His guidance is gentle, His love so profound,

In His presence, I find solace, where peace is found.

And so, I worship, not in rituals or rite,

But in spirit and truth, with all my might.

For the essence of worship lies not in form,

But in a heart surrendered, in the eye of the storm.

Oh, God, guide me on this sacred quest,

To find You in spirit, to feel Your behest.

With trust as my compass, I'll never be lost,

For Your love is my anchor, whatever the cost.

So, I seek You, Lord, in spirit and in truth,

Knowing Your help will conquer all ruth.

In the embrace of Your grace, I find my release,

For in searching for You, I find eternal peace.
