Seeing from within
A limerick in support of getting comfortable for a laugh
There once was a woman from Canada
constantly searching for the anima
that sometimes appeared,
suggesting things weird
in clues she deciphered with stamina.
.
She found it easy to peek at the ground
which when clumped in a cup's bottom, mud brown,
held subconscious leaks
with insightful peeks
into strange images of a dream town.
.
Hidden thoughts that invisibly hovered
often formed pictures that she discovered,
of warnings to heed,
and of troubles freed,
where oft, even lost thoughts were recovered.
.
At first, cartoon-like images caused laughter
then something stranger happened that's dafter.
Shadows formed a clue
so the mind could view
situations, affecting there-after.
.
Magic coffee beans that come off a shelf
possibly hold secret keys of an elf.
Before you dismiss
such a thought as this
spend a few minutes to think for yourself.
.
Warm comfort is found in different ways,
a cup of tea or coffee helps most days.
A time pondering
is not squandering,
when upon inner messages we gaze.
.
That woman from Canada reflected,
in choices, truths are often deflected.
What's seen in a cup
when patterns turn up
let's some alternatives be projected.
.
Perhaps next time strange challenges arise
a subconscious thought might help you surmise
a hidden surprise
with your open eyes.
Try seeing from within for the grand prize.
