When I met you
You wore a mask and so did I
But after a while
The more time we spent together
We sometimes took the mask off
And the first time that happened
It was a little scary
But after a while
We sometimes took the mask off a little longer
We saw each other and realized we were exactly the same
It was never about the mask
Even though you wore blue and I wore red
Even though I was a few inches taller
I saw beyond just your skin
The reflection of your mind in mine
