Seduced by Your Light
An acrostic love poem

Existing in the darkness already, but
Corrupted by my desire for you, and
Lulled (or perhaps lured?) by your light,
I was drawn to you like a mate to an anglerfish, a listless
Parasite,
Seduced (blinded?) by the bright glow of your luminous flesh,
Every part of me unremembered in your brilliance.

Liked the last line. Brings home the notion that we all have our own inner light and a healthy relationship blends the lights together, honoring both to make a new more brilliant light.
