Secrets Never Lie
They just come out when the time is right.
The secrets that you hide away will always come back to play
Maybe not on this exact day
So enjoy your freedom because you’ll soon pay
Or maybe it won’t be soon and you’ll have years of comfort
Like that demon never affected your life or something
But darling oh darling
You have yourself fooled
If that demon is who you are
You’ll eventually get over ruled
It’ll rightfully take its throne
In your heart or in your soul
It’ll be so powerful you can’t take it
It will ruin your life as you made it
White lies may get you far
Even decades and miles apart
But the true you always know your destination
The longer you push it away
The more you’re leading yourself to castration
The more people it may hurt
The more lovely situations it’ll have put in the dirt
It’ll refuse to be the one buried first
Don’t you dare act like you can hide
They all come out eventually
Maybe you should!
Oops...
Looks like the clock is ticking
Tocking time goes unbearably missing
It’s ten years from when you figured it out
& you’re doing oh so well for yourself
Have a husband and kids that you’ve made so proud
What will they do when they find mommy in a cheap hotel
With one of the mommy’s on the PTO help
It’ll end up in divorce and a custody battle
Unless you do it now
Everything you think you love
Will be left in your shadow
Don’t get me wrong it’s your rightful decision
It’s just a little spiteful to your future kindred
