Desires Eclipsed My Responsibilities
introspective and retrospective for In Eclipse Challenge
each time I gained your trust, I tarnished it just as I had time and time before
contrary to my words, my actions were only of selfish addictive lust
laying down each night in a bed of my own creation, a bed of anxiety, lies and duplicity
in deep and dark the pit of loathing and gratuity
Porneia was my anaesthetic from the dark, the dark that Porneia exacerbated
so wrapped in my own impulsive desires, I was, as they
eclipsed my responsibilities and the opportunity for real joy, love and connection

Reading this now after one of your more recent articles, I see what you’re going through. Keep your head up Paul- you in your weakest moments is not all of you 🙌
Yes, very poignant as Dharrsheena said. “in a bed of my own creation” - felt that. Liking the different route you’ve taken in this entry!! 😊👍🌄
This was so poignant, Sir Paul. Sending you lots of love and hugs ❤️
That seems to sum up an awful lot incredibly clearly. In a poem. Nice job. Really impressive.
NICE! THIS IS A GOOD STORY, WORD BY WORD
I admire your working your way through it one word at a time, Paul. Another fine entry!
