Seasons

A Poem

By Angel AdagioPublished 8 days ago Updated 8 days ago 1 min read

Summer has always been so bright and beautiful.

She has this way of warming up everyone during the most darkest times.

Her laugher is carried through the breeze in the trees,

the sun beaming it's everlasting glow.

I've always loved hearing her laughter through the babies outside playing,

bathing in her beauty and knowing that the world has begun again.

Fall always did love the way Summer brought her own beauty to the world,

but they wanted to have their own spin.

The leaves on the trees begin to change colors,

browns, oranges, and yellows reflecting the beauty Fall wanted to give to the world that was once so green from Summer.

A cooler breeze fills the air as Fall is content on the color scheme they have brought.

Winter applauds their siblings for how beautiful they made the world,

she so enjoys the cooler air that Fall brings, but wants more.

Crisp cold air fills and all the leaves on trees disappear,

they don't feel the magic like how their siblings created just yet.

From the sky, she creates snow flakes,

and like the individuality of her siblings, every snowflake isn't like another,

showing her love for their family. And she laughs endlessly of the beauty her snow brings to the world.

Spring is proud of Winter for finding their way in the world,

but it is time for the coolness to go and let the sun shine through once more.

He kisses the earth and flowers bloom,

the sky dances and rainbows appear.

The leaves are welcomed back with a glorious "Welcome Home",

Summer greets Spring knowing she will need to return soon,

but lets Spring enjoy his beautiful flowers and rainbows.

The earth will forever be reborn.
