Geez, this was so great!! No idea how just a few grocery lists could tell such a story. You could feel the seasons and the change in mindset/relationships throughout. I really enjoyed it :)

Delicious grocery list . The food on the list .

  • Wow, I can't believe you told a story with just items on a grocery list. This was really good.

🤍 Fantasric-Love the seasonality and then the cyclicality of life captured perfectly within a shopping list 🤍 Never had an Oreo...feel that tomorrow may well be the day 🤍

  • Ah so they were a person who ate a lot, then they saw someone they liked and started dieting. Then cooked for their partner even. Sadly, they broke up. And this person went back to eating a lot. You're brilliant!

Gosh I feel like this has several interpretations. The one I'm solid on is that this is the story of a breakup. Speaker makes tacos, has dessert, all is fun in December. Presumably, she meets a crush, starts to diet (February), and possibly starts dating around. Meets the boyfriend, has a sexy date in June, dates for 3 months or so, then breaks up on September 21st (nice touch with the specific date -- wow). And back to December, we see the tacos come back, perhaps comfort food, perhaps as a way to manifest good luck a second time around. Fantastic job! Each list was so vivid, I could see the speaker's thinking behind all the items, the scenes they were preparing for. Oh, this is so fun, seeing everyone's entries!

Mmm! The mention of saffron rice literally reminded me that I need to get some brown rice lol. Thanks. Is there a significance to 9/21?

Oh, I see what you did here. Great response. I prob would have given up on the Lean Cuisine by mid January. Kudos.
