Poetry
So I guess the fortune tellers wrong
Or I’ve been scammed for quite a song
It’s like a karmic lesson
Where my instinct didn’t match or was mess-in
With hope or delusion
Amidst the confusion
I’m sorry that it’s been so hard for you
that’s what she said haha bad joke but it’s true
The subtext I got, (and I just wish I would stop the brain rot!)
Is that it’s like I’m a block of chocolate, and you’re on a diet
About the Creator
Susannah Peareth-Kinston
I am a mother of two boys, a librarian and a poet.
I hope to make some poetry connections here and maybe even have it as a side hustle. I do it for the cathartic release I get from writing it.
I write about love, friendship and ADHD.
