I’m searching for a love that remains out of reach,
Everywhere I turn, I feel the weight of defeat.
I’m seldom desired for simply being me;
It’s always about what I can provide,
Not the soul that no one bothers to see.
In crowded rooms, I feel so alone,
A heart that’s yearning, yet unclaimed, unknown.
I dream of someone who sees through the mask,
Who finds the beauty in the questions I ask.
With whispered hopes, I let my guard down,
Seeking connection in a world that feels bound.
If love is a journey, then I’ll wander on,
For even in darkness, the light will be drawn.
So I’ll keep searching, through shadows and light,
For the love that embraces both day and night.
And though I may stumble, I’ll rise with grace,
Believing one day, I’ll find my true place.
