Walking beside the sea, with the waves crashing by, Memories of betrayals, made my heart sigh, Each thought more intriguing, than the last, All I could think of, was the past.
I'd been stabbed so many times, yet I never learned, Instead, I'd escape to my room, and the pages turned, Movies, comics, and books, were my retreat, But the scars of betrayal, were never discreet.
Despite the pain, I remained kind, Giving away pieces, until nothing was left to find, Until the day came, and I lost all hope, Becoming someone, I never thought I'd cope.
