I've been waiting for my phone to ring

to hear you say my name

I've been wanting, more than anything

to find my way back home again

I've been listening to your voicemails

so I don't forget your voice

but my eyes well up and hope pales

cause nothing fills that kind of void

I need to don the wings of fireflies

to take me to the other side

I can't find the peace in goodbye

I'd give it all to buy more time

climbing rainbows to a wishing well

just to spend more time with you

scouring the sand only gets me seashells

and a pocket full of dreams that don't come true
