Scorpion Under Black Lights;Oh How we Shine!
Narrative Poem
Triangulate a prosperous future-
No longer
romantic entanglements
With fuck boys
IMMUNE
to being used.
Intimacy, refuses to warm
the empty cavities of immature
hearts.
Asking to warm up my hands, is
requesting far too much
Months of getting to know him,
Absolutely nothing
deeper than WYD?
The common denominator
No intention of progressing further
Like trying to put antifreeze in,
while the engine is hot.
Previously,
withholding my character
out of fear; or rejection
Bred dysfunction
Time spent
in almost, situation-ships,
and friend without benefits
Just grains of sand,
that scratch my eyes
No interest,
in a fraction of a loved ones devotion
You’re reach,
like a single slice of pizza,
pooled in grease
I pat away with a napkin...
Our energy is not clean
Leaving the air between my
past, present, polluted.
Drained of my colorful personality,
like freshly lavender hair-dye.
Down the drain,
like a head scratch,
a midst the confusion
of warm rainy day.
Ultra violet laser beams
Intersecting
Bouncing a fragment of light
to you...
How handsome, you’re face
aglow under a black light
Like tonic water
Stirred up warm feelings,
like uranium glows in the dark
Unaware, she is his kryptonite
Taking the sting out of
every wet, sloppy kiss,
like an emperor scorpion,
under black lights
glowing blueish- green.
A sunburst of color,
shielding my eyes
With a awkward hello
CELESTIAL
In the moment,
ellipses, our souls
drawing in mine-
His eyes dominating alleles
chemistry organically began
radiating.
Illuminating my recessive alleles
Our lust,
it’s own turbine
Willingness of the two
To deepen their soul connection
Our love,
is purely electrifying
Building up steam,
the splitting of atoms
How bright your eyes are
smiling into mine!
Like a camera flash
1,000 mega watts
I am seeing spots
No nervous butterflies
Our carbon foot print,
on this earth may
be small
But the footsteps-
we fill are large
Together we are nuclear
ATOMIC
To symbolize U
And I
Oh, how we shine!
