you know who you are

Scavengers

Scrounger,

Sulking

Lurking

They always lie in wait.

Stalker,

Watching

Waiting

Until some pioneer unveils a beautiful bounty.

Carrion feeder,

Slithering

Scampering

They feast upon their unearned harvest.

Hoarder,

Feasting

Fattening

Reaping treasures their weakness denies.

Rats

Snakes

Vultures.

Nature’s scavengers have nothing but disdain for the:

Thieves,

Poachers,

And Pilferers,

who poison the our art that makes us whole.

Bloody plagiarisers. Liked the imagery that you used here.

  • Whoaaa, this was so powerful! I loved it!

I like to think that karma is a b... People may try to steal your content, but the energy behind that plagiarized piece is gone when they do. The original remains the original. ;-) I know plagiarizing is infuriating. My work has been used without my consent too. My revenge is to chase the culprits and shame them publicly. It's a lot of fun! LOL! Great poem!
