Scared

I am scared of the world, of what it is and what it offers.

I am afraid of life, to go out and be myself;

Because I am to concerned about failing.

I know to little of what goes on behond the walls of my bedroom,

Which is why it is there I stay for majority of my days.

Trapped, confused and overthinking.

What shocked me the most, is that I believed I could rely on people!

But when I fell and hit rock bottom,

All I saw was myself.

Laying in the dark, searching for someone to say, ”Take my hand.”

Yet, there was no one.

It hurt to realize, I am alone in this world

And left to face life’s challenges

All on my own once again.
