Feels like a distant memory now you know,
Though the memories faded really slow
The last two years have flown by,
I am not sure whether my memory is repressed
Though apparently that can happen if chronically depressed
I think it’s a form of sub conscious preservation
The scabs are bleeding again, now THAT’S a conversation
The numbing of the numbness, just want to feel something
There are walls around my heart, my chakras toughening
I am tired of praying for a manifest- it’s so true
Every month that goes by is further away from you
About the Creator
Susannah Peareth-Kinston
I am a mother of two boys, a librarian and a poet.
I hope to make some poetry connections here and maybe even have it as a side hustle. I do it for the cathartic release I get from writing it.
I write about love, friendship and ADHD.
