Saved by the Hands of Jesus
In silent nights of sorrow’s weight,
When hope had slipped beyond my sight,
A gentle hand reached through the dark,
And bathed my soul in quiet light.
The storms had torn my heart apart,
Each tear a river, cold and wide,
Yet there He stood, a steady calm,
A voice that whispered, “I abide.”
My burdens fell like withered leaves,
The chains of fear began to break,
For mercy flowed from wounded palms,
A gift no earthly force could take.
Through every trial, fierce and wild,
His grace became my resting place,
Not by my strength, but by His love,
I found the warmth of His embrace.
No longer lost, no longer blind,
I walk a path His hands have paved,
Each step a promise softly kept,
A sinner held, a soul now saved.
And when my final breath shall fade,
I’ll rise beyond the veil of time,
Held safe within those sacred hands,
Forever His, forever mine.
