I bled, my darling,
shall I call you my farling,
so far away and only saying farewell, but beloved still.

a smile until
I can see you above the windowsill,
and it's okay to frown again,
because it will be okay again,
the storm will eventually end,
no bright eyes for a journey treacherous,
just soft words that pause and press play again,

I say poetry when I'm into you,
like dinosaurs seeing life about to begin,
am in awe, forever, of what I saw,
knowing you taught me the word "beautiful",

I am lost, sweet finder,
will you find me again,
I don't think so,
but I think that's what praying's for
