Salt of sorrow
Now every time I eat, I think of my mother's love, And the sorrow that she carried, Sent down from above.

Not only in the kitchen jar, But also in my mother's care, There was a salt of sorrow, A flavor I couldn't bear.
ο»Ώ
Every bite was tainted, With tears that she had cried, Her heartache and her anguish, In every morsel I tried.
ο»Ώ
I couldn't escape the sadness, No matter how I tried, For it was in every dish she made, Her pain she couldn't hide.ο»Ώ
I wished that I could help her, To ease her burden and her pain, But all I could do was taste her tears, And share in her endless strain.ο»Ώ
Now every time I eat, I think of my mother's love, And the sorrow that she carried, Sent down from above.ο»Ώ
I hope one day she'll find, The happiness she deserves, And the salt of sorrow will be gone, From the food she lovingly serves.
