SAD

Sadness creeps in like a foggy mist

Slowly rising within and around

It drapes the heart with a solemn twist

Till all the joy within is drowned.

Thoughts and memories blend into a blur

Once happy moments turn into ash

A heavy burden that's hard to bear

Sadness lingers, refusing to pass.

We try to smile and push it aside

To hide it from the world outside

But it's a weight we cannot evade

A pain that clings and will not fade.

Yet in the midst of sorrow's shade

There's a hope that is still alive

That joy will return and fears will fade

And in time, we'll once again thrive.

So let us endure this feeling deep

And trust that the light will shine

For sadness may be hard to keep

But joy we will always find.
