Brush Fire

Fire burns the brush,

hiding inside my cold soul.

The warmth brings me life.

Defiled

Bare feet on the earth,

her power undefiled.

Taking what's not mine.

Holy Water

Wash my soul gently

with the holiest of springs.

My spirit is clean.

Breath of Life

I thought I would die

before the air filled my lungs.

The breath of life won.
