Deep in the forest, the man in red was having a Christmas campfire.
Terrified Marshmallow fellows and Chocolate bar declared it utterly insane.

Fearing to be torched by Santa who looked like a walking bloodstain,
The marshmallows were ready to have meltdowns, cried for a ceasefire.
Sadistic Santa was at it again!

White fluffy Marshmallows wanted to mingle into the snowy terrain.
The dragon tongues of fire were growing higher.
Terrified Marshmallow fellows and Chocolate bar declared it utterly insane.

Mr. Chocolate thought this was richly inhumane.
He was running around like a bittersweet town crier.
Sadistic Santa was at it again!

The Marshmallows stuck together in a gooey mess during heated strain.
Chocolate sang out words "to melt or not to melt", a comical satire.

With one marshmallow comrade going up in flames, three remain,
The old man’s wicked laughter sent a chills of Choco-mallow dire.

To Give Your Last Twenty
He walks oddly, shuffling and nearly tripping down the hallway toward his apartment door. I slow my pace, allowing my neighbor— a stuffy ex-marine with one missing tooth and a strong odor of liquor and two weeks' worth of unwashed stench always accompanying him—to reach his door. I crinkle my nose, nearly gagging as he dawdles ahead.
