Running Up That Hill
A short poem inspired by an amazing song!
Thanks to an appearance on a Netflix series (The name escapes me -Stranger Things perhaps?) this wonderful song from Kate Bush, experienced a tremendous renaissance in recent years.
On the Zen channel on SiriusXM, they feature an other-worldly version that instantly reduces me to tears. That version, linked to below, promoted me to create this poem.
-
What could be more beautiful than this moment?
How could my spirit be more alive?
-
It lifts up
out of my body
reaching for divine knowledge
real truth
true perception
-
It wraps its finger around the cosmos
dancing, swaying, gyrating, vibrating
to ever higher frequencies
greater amplitudes
escalating in intensity
with every move
every look
every touch
-
