Royal Dust

verse 1

By Forest GreenPublished 3 months ago • 1 min read

You built a whole career on a foundation of dust,

Every word out your mouth is a layer of rust.

You’re a walking fiction novel, a fabricated myth,

Trading heavy-weight status for a lightweight smith.

You want the crown? Man, you can't even hold the weight,

Your whole existence is a generated mistake.

I see right through the smoke, right past the disguise,

You’re a stranger to the truth, married to the lies.

So let’s talk about the integrity you claim that you keep,

You’re counting phantom sheep while the culture’s asleep!

You tell 'em you’re a boss, but you’re punching the clock,

Just a prop on the stage, just a fool on the block
