A nature-based poem

Light like scarlet red

pointy like ruby starfruit

sleeping in the nettle towers.

Spicy and sour

soaked in burning water

to sip and imbibe.

Grown in autumn bushes

red berry trails

dwarf cerise shrubs

and rosy botanical farms.

The color of apples

the shade of ladybugs

and bitter like raspberries.

Tiny like painted almonds

big like juicy pomegranates

and glossy like lipstick.
