Rose Buds Bloom with Time

I Will Remain on Paper

By Sharita CormierPublished 6 years ago 1 min read

Rose buds bloom with time

They wither and shrivel

I will remain on paper

Timeless and effortless

Revolving through the ages

While you thumb through my pages

Print after print

Copy after copy

Never one as good as the original

More valued and divine

Never shelved always open

Stimulating your minds

And always hard to find

Mystical and ambitious

Monomaniacal yet well-formed

Contradictions with no discrepancies

Epitome of apathy

Designed with the etiquette

With placement such

As the adds of an article

Dream so in depth

I danced under the moon

Fold me and read me

As if I were a cartoon

Comically concluded

Mended not contused

Always held together

Never confused
