Draw a new fate

Keep the same soul

Burn down an old home

Raze it

-just not your home

___But let stay the door

Let it be all that is left in the ruin

And a maze of vine grow from it

Take this love down

To rest in the root bed

Keep it only for you

-the only one I’d give it to

This dark soil is cold

___But the dawn is warm

And here each day

And she is ours

About the Creator

James Albert

Hoping to share my love of poetry and find a unique voice among the cacophony. Some dark humor, a little adventure, a little irony, mostly strange. Please comment if you like something... or if you don't. `V(^c^)V`
