Take the day.

She had a glint in her eye

she had magic from the sky

she had a name that symbolized freedom.

She never knew quite how far

she could get on a star

but she bowed and then overcame it.

She had to sit in

It was a reflection

she knew this day would come

For to my surprise

the thing that she devised

can free us from all of our sins

Using the plants as a guide

she easily survived

what surely could have been her doom

The plant from within

took her again

to a place of healing and sorrow

today was hard

there's no more lifeguard

we'll see what happens tomorrow

Another day has passed

there's more to the mask

that will eventually fall

How can we die

we're barely alive

the plot wraps us together

What's right or what's wrong

what side you are on

doesn't build any bridges

To the place we can be

where we are all free

from the bonds of our own doing

Can't we just be

let's follow the sea

to places of inter-dimension

Love will survive

It's built to take time

there's one thing I'll finally say

Take the day

don't waste it away

you'll thank yourself in today's tomorrow
