In this world we call our home,
We face problems, we face alone.
From climate change to poverty,
Issues abound for you and me.
The oceans rise, the forests burn,
Our planet suffers at every turn.
But we can take action, do our part,
Reduce our footprint and heal our heart.
The gap between rich and poor,
Is wider now than ever before.
But we can fight for equality,
And lift each other up, you and me.
Hate and division, all around,
People hurting, without a sound.
But we can choose to love and unite,
And make the world a brighter sight.
So let us come together, as one,
And do what must be done.
Address the problems, find solutions,
And make a better world, a revolution.
The pandemic has disrupted our lives,
Causing pain, sorrow, and countless sighs.
But we can adapt, and we can heal,
Working together, with a shared zeal.
Education, healthcare, and justice too,
Systems failing, leaving us feeling blue.
But we can demand change, and hold leaders accountable,
And create a world that’s more equitable and sustainable.
With every step we take, and every choice we make,
We can shape our future, and heal the world’s ache.
So let us not despair, but rise up and unite,
And make a world that’s fair, just, and bright.
