Rise wash away yesterday
Disregard the things people say
No one has a clue of the true you
Blinded by what they see your simply
Just striving to just be
Stand up even when you feel small
The future is buried within us all
Trials can be like the clouds in the sky
They block the sunlight from our eyes
Though it may be hard to see
Sometimes we must stand still and just be
Striving to find some clue what we should do
The truth of every situation is already inside you
Sometimes we try to find a friend when the loneliness won’t end
Just as a judge pounds a gavel life sometimes seems to unravel
As you move to plant your roots at times the point seems moot
The rain comes to wash the soot away so all your days don’t seem so gray
Without warning right before your eyes an epiphany will happen and your life will rise
