Rhythm We Made

She’s no doubt going to break my heart

I shouldn’t have even let us start

But something about her pulled me in from the dark

And I can’t say no to a light brighter than the stars

The way she feels her music

Showed the passion of her heart

And I couldn’t help but want to to be a part

Of the never ending adventure

That is her art

I won’t take it for granted

I vow 'til whenever we part

I vow..Maybe she’s what I need right now

Maybe the connection of our dad’s death will help us heal somehow

I should really put myself first before she leaves me now

But I’m addicted to the danger

She keeps me wowed

Her smile infectious

Her actions loud

I’m nervous I’ll get lost in her crowds

I’m hoping the wub wub’s of her soul’s speaker

Make her drop as I am

In my eyes she’s a keeper

I just wish she’d look in to me a little deeper

But I’ll take what I can get

Until the rhythm gets weaker
